Course overview

Personal, social and emotional development (PSED) supports children to learn to get on with others and make friends, understand and talk about feelings, learn about 'right' and 'wrong', develop independence and ultimately feel good about themselves.

In this course we will explore how humans develop their sense of themselves and others by understanding more about:

·       The drive to connect – attachment and relationships

·       How we experience, express and manage emotions

·       Being together – what we mean by social skills
